Lvl was founded in Long Beach — not by a developer chasing volume, but by someone who lived the same story everyone knows: contractors who don't show up, don't communicate, and don't stand behind their work. We experienced it firsthand, and we decided to do something about it. Today we serve homeowners and businesses across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the greater Southern California area.
Bryce brings a background most contractors don't have. A Mechanical Engineering degree led to years at Kiewit — one of the largest general contractors in the world — building bridges and industrial processing plants, where he developed deep fundamentals in construction management. From there, engineering roles at a large-diameter pipe manufacturer taught him that every detail matters — no matter how small, and no matter if anyone will ever see it.
Before starting Lvl, Bryce spent years designing and renovating homes for himself, friends, and family — learning material selection, what quality actually looks like, and just how frustrating the home renovation experience can be when you're in the hands of the wrong contractor. That frustration became the foundation of everything Lvl stands for.
